Most people do not want to leave the street to make their lives better or easier. There can be reasons why people live on the street but no reason for a teen to be living there. The novel is showing how people can change after living on the streets for so long. It shows how they behave for there mood after times on the street. The novel tells how much people have to beg for money. The novel shows how some people on the street may want to change that to having a life and money with not that much worries in them. In the novel it tells how so people die on the streets or have no money because they spent it all on things that they do not need. On the novel the street kids were spending there money on drugs instead of medicine or food.
